To judge in Ticklin’ Ribs, a public judge will pay for the opportunity to sample ribs from various teams.

Sample tickets are priced 6 for $5 or 12 for $10.  No matter how many sample tickets are purchased, only one ballot will be given to a participating BBQ judge.

Each judge will be given a number of tickets based on the sample package purchased.  (6 for $5 or 12 for $10)

The judge will then present the ticket to the BBQ Team(s) in order to receive and sample that team’s ribs.  (Only one rib per ticket).

The judge will then mark down the number of the team which offered the best rib from all sampled by the judge and return the ballot to the Chamber of Commerce for tallying.

In the event of a tie, a “taste off” will be administered with a tie-breaker judge chosen at the discretion of the Nevada/Vernon County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director.
